I’m Sydnie, founder of Fairware Ceramics, though you’ll never see that name on any of my pots; unless you know what you’re looking for. Every one of my pots has a hand-carved insignia of a wheat shaft, my family symbol, rather than my name. It shows the craftsmanship of the pot leaving no credit to the craftsman, because for me, it’s not about the name. It’s the feeling that I leave with each piece that gets to find a new home.  Pottery is a form of art that has allowed me to combine my many loves into one: three-dimensional, two-dimensional, texture, color, touch, architecture, etc. Teaching me great lessons like patience, optimism, freedom, accepting change, embracing failure, and more and more everyday. I hope you capture as much feeling seeing them as I put into making them.
